1. WORKING TIME /includes DRIVING TIME /
It is 13 hours a day and includes not only DRIVING TIME inclusive 45 MINUTES BREAK but also time spent with waiting for being - loaded/unloaded, actual loading/unloading, short stops at petrol stations etc.
Note: In 2 weeks driver cannot have DRIVING TIME over 90 HOURS!
DRIVING TIME: 9 hours a day could be increased to 10 hours a day two times a week.
2. TIME FOR REST
Short break 45 minutes in the driving time /normally 4.5 hours driving then 45 minutes break and again 4,5 hours driving/
Note: If driver drives 3 hours and then sails with ferry after coming to the port he can drive again 4,5 hours without doing 45 minutes break.
He can also split up his break into 15 minutes and then 30 minutes /not other way round!/.
Long break 11 hours that can be 3x a week shortened to 9 hours. He can split it up in 2 in the period of 24 hours but then it must be 12 hours and the first part must be at least 3 hours and the second one at least 9 hours.
WEEKEND BREAK
45 hours if the driver stays abroad Can be shortened to 24 hours but driver must in next 3 weeks make / 45+21 hours/
1st week 24hours
2nd week 45hours
3rd week 24 hours
4th week 45 + 21 hours /To avoid 3 days standing normally drivers are exchanged at this weekend/
24 hours can be done before or after 45 hour weekend break
